Today we take a bus ride to the Alausi rail station where we board the Expreso for a six hour, awe-inspiring ride. This spectacular Andean route ends at El Tambo, where we board the bus for a visit of the ruins at Ingapirca. We reboard the auto ferry and continue to Cuenca. (B/D)
Day 3 - Cuenca
Full day exploration of Cuenca, a charming colonial city marked by narrow, cobblestone streets and romantic plazas. Our tour visits the historical colonial buildings and fine craft markets. (B/L)
